Arkansas

I made it back in one piece from Arkansas. It was a fun filled weekend of love, booze, and food. There were about 20 of us that flew in on the same flight from LA. It took a school bus and a van to get us all into Eureka Springs. The second we got to the cabin, we started doing shots of moonshine. The bridal cabin had about 12 people staying in it. It was basically The Real world Arkansas. We even at one point managed to get 15 people into a 4 person hot tub.


This stuff was the end of me!

Day One was spent at Beaver Lake. They rented some pontoon boats and jet-skis. Niqui's dad cooked a Shrimp boil with red potatos and corn on the cob. As well as crawfish ettouffe which was super yummy! Plus shrimp is my #1 food, so I was in heaven.






Day Two was the big day. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was a lot of fun. The wedding planner was god awful. She knew less of what was going on than I did. Even people who weren't in the bridal party were irritated with her and her attitude. Overall though, it went well and was a great time. I was super nervous to do my speech, but it went over well with the crowd and got some laughs. We danced our asses off and one friend even busted his chin open while attempting to do the worm. After the wedding we went back to the cabin for an after party. That's when things got a little crazy. Niqui's brother was dared to run around butt ass naked, which he did, and then we ended up branding his chest with a hot iron. It was as serial as you would imagine.





Day Three was spent hanging around Eureka Springs. It's a funky little town. The humidity and heat was a bit too much for me all weekend. My hair and hangovers did not agree with it either.

Overall, I had an awesome time and I'm so happy to see my best friends as Husband and Wife!
