Ok, I am fully guilty of being an avid texter but when did this become the next step to meetng someone in a relationship? I have hit over 600 text messages in the last month and it's getting a bit excessive. Granted one of the guys I am "seeing" has a really thick accent and I can never understand a damn word he says when he calls me. Let me run you through my daily text messages with him. 9am: Good Morning Beautiful. Awh how sweet, ok I'm up thanks. 10am: What are you doing? My answer: Working, u? him: Working. Great that was worth a text. 12pm: What are you doing? For real dude, I'm still working what do you think? This goes on all day every 2 to 3 hours. I started responding with things like "curing cancer, making goats milk, and baking a cake" followed with "What the fuck do you think... working still, you dumb shit, stop asking!" Ugh. I also have another guy who just texts me "Good Morning" every morning, but he never responds to any other texts I send. I have stopped answering him. It's nice to know I'm on these guys mind, but honestly dude...save the cell phone bill please.

ReplyDeletesnorting! making goats milk is a good one. i'm having that issue with one lady. she writes me and says nothing so i write back and she responds with "yeah", or "cool." finally i just said, good chat. which was my sarcastic way of saying, uh you are boring. not sure she picked up on it though. text dating fuckin sucks.
