Save the date

No I'm not getting married, jeesh! Save the date next year for a trip to the nail salon. I went to get my nails did on Chinese New Year the other day and it was probably the best experience ever. I walked in and there was no one in the whole place (joys of going mid day and mid week). Everyone was wearing red and were is great moods. I totally forgot it was Chinese New Year and wished them all a Happy Year of the Rabbit. I don't know if they were all caught up in the joy of the holiday or if they were just impressed a white girl knew what Chinese year it was, but they gave me the red carpet treatment. I got upgrades on everything, longer massages, and she threw in a sea salt scrub and nail design for free. No "5 dolla", just free. Now my toes look effin fantastic and they have fancy artwork on the big toes. LOL! I will definitely be marking my calendar for Chinese New Year and you should too.
